Conquering Fears and Leading the Way
Sarah stood out for me from the moment I read her bio. Like many of us, a once exhausted mum found her niche and conquered her fears. Sarah is an award-winning lady, that inspires and encourages women on her journey.
Then I had a call from Lynda who asked if I would consider being a consultant?! That I would be great at it! Me?? Wouldn’t say boo to a goose me?! Talk in front of people??!
What followed has been AMAZING. Totally transformational for me.
Let me introduce Sarah Manners, an award-winning lady who transforms your home into a spa, for you and your friends, with gorgeous products to share.
Sarah also has her own team, where she inspires and encourages women to follow her lead.
Let’s get personal! Where do you live? Do you have a family? What do you do for work and play?
I live in Exeter with my hubby, 4 year-
What is your business called and how did you decide on that name?
Sarah Manners at Temple Spa for obvious reasons!
What type of business do you have? What is your niche?
I offer the ultimate girls night in. A unique try before you buy experience! You gather a handful of friends and I will bring the spa to you! I guide everyone through a beautiful bespoke facial, teaching you skincare tips along the way! It’s about taking a few hours out of your busy schedule just for YOU! Our products are incredible and have won multiple awards.
We are passionate about encouraging busy women to put themselves first for a change! Even if it is just 5 mins at the end of the day with a beautiful relaxing skincare routine.
What do you offer your readers/customers that no one else does?
A full facial for EVERYONE in a intimate relaxed atmosphere. No charge. Just the opportunity to relax and enjoy yourselves.
What made you start your business? Does the reality of running your own business meet your initial thoughts and expectations?
I was at an extremely low point in my life and attended a spa class at a friends house. I was blown away by the products and the gorgeous relaxed atmosphere. No hard selling, just being encouraged to look after myself. I felt amazing afterwards and thought….what if I could make other women feel like that??! Initially, it was hard, especially as I’m an introvert and had zero confidence but I have grown incredibly with help and support. The more I go out there the better I feel! I just want everyone to experience a spa class! It’s so lovely!
How many hours a week do you spend on your business? Do you find you can work this around your other commitments?
It varies. I can definitely fit it in around busy family like and a husband who works away a lot. That’s another reason I love my business!
Who inspires you most?
My fellow business owners and the owners of the company. There is so much love and encouragement at the heart of Temple Spa. It inspires me every day!
What is the big picture? Your business dream?
I am building a team of girls and my goal is to just becoming better and more successful! If I can do for women what this business has done for me then I will be a happy girl!
What has been the biggest problem that you have had to overcome, to enable you to get where you are today?
Confidence. To go out and talk in front of people was huge for me.
Now I love it! Business wise it can be tricky to make people understand that this is not about hard selling. This is about helping people to understand how taking care of themselves can be so beneficial and in some
Have there been any crazy/unbelievable moments that have happened since you began your business? Let’s celebrate your successes!

If you could be interviewed by someone famous/a major influencer. Who would it be and why?
It sounds silly but I would love to be interviewed on This Morning! They reach such a wide audience of women (and men) who may be struggling and lonely at home. Doing something like I do can transform your life! Even just having a spa at home with friends can help you feel better about yourself!
Have there been any hard times in your career that made you question your decision of becoming a Femail Entrepreneur? How did you overcome this?
When I feel that people don’t take my business seriously. That I’m just another sales person or when someone cancels on me at the last minute or when someone cancels and doesn’t rearrange. I remember the people who have messaged me or left reviews and said how their skin has changed or how much they love coming to a class. That I’m nothing like the ‘salesperson’ they were expecting.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Enjoying life and living to my best potential. Maybe being asked to talk at our annual Managers leadership conference!
Is there any advice you’d give to those who want to start on a similar business journey to you?
Just do it! Don’t overthink it. You have nothing to loose and perhaps everything to gain!
