How to make the most of FREE stock photography
You may not have the funds to employ a photographer each month to get unique imagery across your branding. Don’t panic!. There are ways to change the free stock photos so they don’t look the same as others across the cyber world!
Change it up!
It’s simple to make your free stock photography different from the rest and add your mark to ensure they stand out from the crowd. You can do this simply and freely by using free online services such as Canva.
1. Add text
We regularly use stock images as the feature images on our blog posts or to create neat sharable content across our social media. So try adding text, your logo or URL.
2. Use a colour overlay
Try to use colours familiar to your brand to make a stock photo feel closely aligned with your business.
3. Crop the image
If you want to hone in on a specific part of a stock photo you can crop it to discard the unnecessary portions of the image. Cropping allows you to change the emphasis or direction of an image. It works like magic!
Voila! You now have your individual looking images using free stock photography!
Do you ever get lost in the world of imagery?!
If like me, you log into a stock photography site and just like that you’ve lost hours! Often, getting absorbed into a style of photography that doesn’t match your blog post or subject matter!
I gather links to cover the following subjects every month as part of our Ready To Go Membership:
- Health & Fitness
- Spread the Word
- Woman Boss
I have spent the time doing the leg work so you don’t have to. I have researched and found you some gorgeous stock images that you can use for free on your website, blog or business!
